Trotwood
Madison School District business manager John Smith shows the different types
of brick on this mock-up panel on the new high school construction site.
The
media center (library) is the focal point of the classroom wing.
Soon
student lockers will be lining this hall and the puddles of rainwater will be
gone.
The
central air-handling unit dwarfs Megen Construction Company project manager
Godfrey Kerobo.
Students
will enjoy this view into the media center from the 2nd floor hallway connecting
the 2 classroom wings.
The
2nd floor hallway also provides a great view of ‘Main St’ which
connects the classrooms to the gyms, auditorium, cafeteria, and pools.
Masons
have nearly finished the interior walls in the entire classroom wing.
This
science lab is one of the last classrooms waiting for its walls.
Big
windows are featured on every stairwell landing in the new high school.
Workers
are installing steel to support the finish walls in the media center.
‘Main
St’ connects the front entrance to the school. The principal’s office
will be on the left.
Ironworkers
place a roof truss over the new 500-seat auditorium.
Standing
in what will soon be the cafeteria looking west through the new gym site to
where the new football stadium will be.
One
of the school’s hot water boilers is already in place.
The
bleacher section (under the blue tarp) will provide excellent views during swim
meets.
Masons
team up to build tall walls like these for the band and music rooms.
