This
concrete rams head used to hang at the old high school. It is being restored
and will be hung over Main Street in the new school.
Bright
red lockers have already been installed in the second floor corridors. Notice
the halls are carpeted to help reduce noise.
Painters
put the trim on window and door frames as the September opening day nears. Construction
is on schedule.
Students
will enjoy this view into the media center from the 2nd floor hallway connecting
the 2 classroom wings.
‘Main
St’ connects the classrooms to the gyms, auditorium, cafeteria, and pools.

of OK Interiors, will be installing the Ram's Head on Main St. Gary
Jessie, Class of '69 and Site Manager for The Stillman Co., rescued the Ram's
Head from the old school.
This
science lab is one of the first classrooms to actually have furniture.
Big
windows are featured on every stairwell landing in the new high school.
Lots
of natural light will make it easier to work in the new media center. Shelves
and cabinets are due to arrive next week.
‘Main
St’ connects the front entrance to the school. The principal’s office
will be on the right.
The
new Auditorium has a professional size stage and orchestra pit.
Giant
skylights will save electricity and provide ambient lighting in the new Cafeteria.
These
2 hot water boilers will provide all the heat for the entire school building.
The
new diving pool (foreground) and the lap pool will bring aquatic sports competitions
to Trotwood for the first time.
Lights
in all the classrooms are connected to motion sensors and will go off when the
rooms are not in use.
