a repeat GWOC District 3 win the Trotwood-Madison Rams High School varsity basketball
team celebrate on the court after the game. Next game
is the regional semi-final against St Xavier on March
15 at 6:15pm in the Cintas
Center.

easily makes this foul shot. The Rams made 14 of 18 foul attempts compared
to the Elks 11 of 20.

Elks keep the pressure on Trotwood near the hoop as Patric Hill puts one up.
From
this angle it looks like Centerville is holding down the ball as Armond Darby
readies his foul shot. Darby hit 8 points in the game.
At
the end of the half the score was still close 27-22 but that did not diminish
the enthusiasm of the high school fans.

Elder
High School coaches and players were in the stands scouting Trotwood's moves
just in case they meet up later in the playoffs.
Josef
Marshall gets both of his foul shots. There were plenty of fouls from both teams
as the full court pressure was applied. The Elks racked up 37. Trotwood was
responsible for 30 fouls.
Elk
Tyler Replogle (right) hopes the Rams don't come any bigger than this when Christopher
Freeman played late in the game. Freeman added two points for the Rams.
The
Elk defense kept Chris Wright smothered in coverage limiting him to 4 points

Basketball
at its best. Duane Morgan ends up on the floor after attempting a steal as the
Centerville Elks try to get open and move the ball.
Elk
Alan Kavanaugh looks on as Dominc Britt drops one in for the Rams. Britt is
the second highest scorer in the game with 10 points.
Duwan
Thoman puts on the pressure intimidating the Elks. Thoman added 1 point for
the win.
The Elks were
determined not to let Chris Wright through the paint. Matt Kavanaugh gets
a hand on the ball stopping Wright's drive. But
it was too late seconds later the game was over and the Rams take the District
Title 60-39.
The

The
Marching Rams played from the stands, fans called their friends at home, and
the celebration was just beginning.
Duane
Morgan stepped up during the game when the Elks closed in on Chris Wright. He
hit 4 3-pointers and was the team's high scorer with 23 game points. Here he
shows the District 3 Division 1 title medal.
The District
