The Trotwood-Madison Schools ambitious construction program will open
three new schools in the fall of 2007. Westbrooke Elementary is one
of two new elementaries. |

| 2. Jennifer Mosby, a second grade teacher at Townview Elementary is excited by all the school supply cabinets located above the student cubby holes in each classroom. This fall expect this space to be full of paper, pens, and books with backpacks and coats hanging below. | ||
| 3. Windows between the kitchen and dining room make for an open feel in the school cafeteria. | ||
| 4. Next door to the cafeteria is the combination gym/auditorium. The ample stage will accomodate many furure productions. | ||
| 5. Teachers walk across the stage to a doorway connecting to the music room. | ||
| 6. The music room is accented by an array of acoutic panels all the way around the room that will make every insturment sound its best. The acoustic treatments are the grey rectangles near the top of the wall. | ||
| 7. A ramp connects the music room to the main hallway right accross from the front office. | ||
| 8. Bright green countertops in the front office will greet students, parents, and visitors to Westbrooke Elementary School. | ||

| 10. Teachers use floorplans to get oriented in their new building. They will start moving in over the summer. | ||
| 11. Student furniture will be delivered soon. | ||
| 12. Wash sinks are in the foyers outside of the restrooms where teachers can make sure every student washes their hands. The water comes on automatically! | ||
| 13. No elementary student experience is complete without the playground. Teachers survey some of the outdoor features including a climbing wall. | ||

| 15. Desktop computers will complete this computer lab room soon. The door in the rear connects to the school's media center. | ||

| 17. Construction superintendent Gary Jessie remarked that these new air diffusers help control the room temperature much more quickly than ceiling mounted types. | ||
| 18. The large bright art room is centrally located and will surely become a favorite place for many Trotwood-Madison students. | ||
| 19. Each corridor has its own color scheme. | ||
| 20. Benches near the bus entrance look inviting. Generally students living north of Wolf Creek will attend this elementary school. Those to the south will attend Madison Park. | ||
