Election campaign signs dot local roads as November 4th nears. By Friday over 56,000 Montgomery County residents have already voted. That is nearly double the number that voted absentee in 2004. The board of elections is open every day up to Nov 3 for early voting.

Trotwood Madison City Schools have a new levy on the ballot to help with operating costs. There will be a public meeting at Madison Park Elementary on October 27 at 6pm to answer questions on Issue 56

Gene Lutz shares a few words with supporters after taking the oath of office as Trotwood's Fire Chief. Lutz joined the department in 2002 and has 25 years of experience. Also pictured are Mayor Darreyl Davis and City Manager Mike Lucking.

Trotwood voters face three street levy questions Novemebr 4. Issue 37 and 38 are renewals with no ncrease. Issue 39 adds 3.25-mill for residential paving projects. Read all about the levies in this week's Totally Trotwood.

Locally the fall colors are not as vibrant as in previous years. Some attribute this to the extended dry weather since August 7. Trotwood has enjoyed a warm fall until this week when the first overnight freeze reminded residents that winter is getting close.
Antwan Gilbert takes it out to the sideline around Springboro defenders in the first half on October 17. This was the last home game at the Good Samaritan SportsPlex for the 2008 season.
