Trotwood had 2" of snow last week and 37 accidents. Budget cuts have forced reductions in salt usage which may have contributed to the high number of accidents. City officials warn drivers to slow down this winter.
Santa livened up the annual tree lighting festivities at the Depot last weekend. About 200 young and old celebrants ventured out in the snowy weather. Choirs entertained all afternoon.

Horse drawn hay rides thrilled both young and old. Rides departed from the Depot every ten minutes. Horse-N-Around Farms had a great pair of horses and a very comfortable wagon.

Trotwood Issue 38 in a bizarre turn will undergo another recount by Montgomery County Board of Elections on Monday. The first recount was 6168 For the Levy and 6167 Against the Levy. A state audit this week turned up a discrepancy on one voting machine.
