The Trotwood Leadership Academy is off to an exciting start. They will meet ten times to learn how the city is run and get the tools they need to be volunteer leaders in the community.

Residents are invited to a free open house at the Trotwood airport to see the Bamboo Bomber on April 12th 11-1pm. The Wright Stuff Squadron will be taking the plane to many air shows across the country this summer.

The James Group will operate the GM distribution facility bringing new jobs and tax revenue to the city. Some management jobs have already been advertised at Greater Dayton Works.
At the academy's second meeting last Thursday City Manager Mike Lucking gave them a behind the scenes look at how the city works. Each session lasts three hours. 25 residents were admitted into the program.
