Not to be out done Bob Curray sported this 2089 watt backpack setup powered by a custom 7.5lb lithium battery. He traveled to Trotwood from Adelphi, MD where he works as an engineer for WHTT-TV. The Hamvention crowds come from all around the world.

at University of Dayton where he is getting a lot of attention for Trotwood
with his big basketball plays.
Looking pretty sporty with his solar power back pack for his radio and cell phone, Dennis Alexander came to Hamvention 2008 from Warren Ohio. He got lots of attention from fellow ham radio enthusiasts.
