Trotwood Police
Sergeant Richard Wright has a few cuts and bruises after a robbery suspect
forced him across the Rt 35 median during a pursuit. Twenty miles later the
suspect crashed into a Dayton home and was captured. This new cruiser is a
complete loss.
Shelly Bailey 33 was captured Sunday by US Marshalls on a tip in connection with the New Lebanon robbery. Her accomplice fired at police several times during the hour long chase around the Trotwood and Dayton area. Six police vehicles were disabled and at least three private cars crashed during the chase.

18 proud graduates of the first Trotwood Volunteer Academy were given their diplomas May 30th. The students presented their final projects that are designed to help their neighborhoods and the city.
