Hot - Three fires in Trotwood last week left over a million dollars of damage at the Trotwood Preparatory and Fitness Academy. Workmen building a large addition in the rear may have accidentally caused the midnight blaze.

Hot - The second fire badly damaged this cute log cabin on Meadow Ln. The owner had been refinishing a floor and a small pile of rags are suspected to be the cause. Neighbors were saddened by the damage to the nine years of hard work put in by the owner.

Hot - While the log cabin home was still burning fire broke out in this garage on Oak St. The cause was suspicious and the Fire Department is asking for citizens to help solve this one.

Traffic had to come to a standstill for awhile on Wolf Creek Pike Thursday as paving machines applied new asphalt in the industrial section. The new roadway is a little wider to help move expected traffic from the James Group Ohio facility that recently opened there.
