Most Trotwood home values are down a little. Montgomery County Auditor appraisal results will arrive this week. The new assessments will become the basis for property tax calculations in 2009.
Trotwood farm owners may be surprised by the auditors assessments. Farm values across the state and in Trotwood have risen dramatically. Look up you home's county assessed value on their web site. If you disagree with their valuation call them within 20 days.

Trotwood's volunteer coordinator Carolyn Slott is moving on after finishing her Americorps commitment in Trotwood. Slott set in motion many volunteer activities in the city including the Volunteer Leadership Academy (pictured). A new Americorps member is being sought.
Trotwood water department crews are nearly caught up with water line repairs for the summer. Last week they temporarily closed East Main St to fix a leak under this sidewalk.
