Mayor Darreyl Davis makes the connection between perception and progress at the Trotwood Chamber of Commerce Mayor's Breakfast. The chamber event is held several times a year for area business leaders.

Construction work on Salem Avenue will last until August from the Kentucky Fried Chicken to Olive Road. New roadway, sidewalks, curbs and storm drainage will be installed. Traffic will be reduced to one lane at times.

Work continues at the former Salem Mall site to remove the building's foundation. The city continues to formulate a viable re-development solution for the Landmark project and remain optimistic. The Chase Bank finally vacated last week and moved to Consumer Square.
